Joseph and Ellen (Forsyth) Johnston Divorce

I have found divorce unusual in Scotland even after World War II and was a bit surprised when I learned Joseph Johnston died after Ellen had married Francis McDade Ballantine until I discovered this record after looking more closely at their marriage registration.
