2.3.5.8. Thomas McInally (1903-1971)

Thomas McInally was born on 24 January 1903 at 92 Burnside Street in the Milton district of Glasgow. He parents were James and Marion (Murray) McInally and his father was a cab driver. When the 1911 census was enumerated, Thomas was an "inmate" at the Ruchill Fever Hospital in the Possilpark district of Glasgow.

On 27 April 1923 he married Annie Forsyth at her home on 47 Clarence Street according to the forms of the United Free Church of Scotland. He was 20 years old, also lived on 47 Clarence Street, and worker as a carter like Annie's father. He was almost 4 years younger than Annie. They had one known son.

Thomas McInally died on 16 June 1971 at the Hawkhead Hospital in Paisley of respiratory infection, chronic bronchitis, and pulmonary infiltration. He was 68 years old, lived at 288 Kintyre Avenue in Linwood, Renfrewshire, and was a retired engineer's store man.
