Connie Rae Beck was born on 8 October 1943 in Los Angeles County, California, to John Welsey Beck and Lillian A. Akerlund. Her father was in the Army and was stationed overseas a few months before Connie was born. Lillian took her newborn baby back to Montana to live until his return.

According to her aunt Thelma's family sketch, Connie Rae Beck died on 12 March 1956.

2.12.11.2.2. Vernon Beck (1947- )

Vernon Beck was born on 11 April 1947 to John Wesley Beck and Lillian A. Akerlund. According to his aunt Thelma's family sketch, Vernon's father opened a garage in Harve, Montana, and the family lived there for at least the next 40 years. So Vernon was likely born in Harve.

2.12.11.2.3. Vicki Lynn Beck (1948- )

Vicki Lynn Beck was born on 27 September 1948, likely in Harve, to John Wesley Beck and Lillian A. Akerlund. She married Wesley J. Langley and they have one son:

Lillian Marie Erickson was born on 31 October 1937 in Malta, Montana, to William Eugene Erickson and Thelma Christena Beck. She married Richard Wayne Carl, son of Earl E. Carl and Kathleen B. Clark, on 31 October 1957 in Grays Harbor, Washington. They had two children before divorcing:

• Dawn Marie Carl born on 30 September 1960
• Earl Edward Carl born on 5 July 1965

When Lillian's mother died in 201l, Lillian was listed in the obituary as married to Forrest Nelson. Forrest and Lillian lived in Rushville, Nebraska, at the time. I have been unable to discover anything about him.

2.12.11.1.2. Herbert Lawrence Erickson (1939- )

Herbert Lawrence Erickson was born on 20 July 1939 in Malta, to William Eugene Erickson and Thelma Christena Beck. He and his wife, Dorothy, have lived in Denver, Colorado, since at least 1973.

2.12.11.1.3. Carol Jane Erickson (1942- )

Carol Jane Erickson was born on 3 April 1942 in Ronan, Montana, to William Eugene Erickson and Thelma Christena Beck. When Carol's mother died in 2011, Carol was listed in the obituary as married to Kenneth Smith and lived in Rochester, Washington. They have several children.

2.12.11.1.4. William Eugene Erickson, Jr. (1944- )

William "Bill" Eugene Erickson, Jr., was born in Seattle, Washington, to William Eugene Erickson and Thelma Christena Beck. Bill married Glenda Williams on 5 October 1966 in Kittitas County, Washington. When his mother died in 2011, he and Glenda lived in Ellensburg, Washington.

Janet King was born on 16 June 1947 at Doctors Hospital in Seattle, Washington, to Jack Thatcher King and Frances Beverly Muir. Her parents divorced sometime before 1956 and she was raised primarily by her mother and step-father, Nicholas Nikas.

She married Steven Lee Taver on 2 May 1980 in Grants Pass, Oregon, and they had three children:

1. Gina (Tarver) Schulze
2. Magnolia (Tarver) Perk
3. Sean Tarver

In 1993 the family lived in Eugene, Oregon.

Janet (King) Tarver died on 6 November 2011 in Eugene. She was interred at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Eugene.

Sean Nikas was born on 4 May 1965 likely in San Francisco, California. He was the only child of Nicholas "Nick" Nikas and Frances Beverly Muir.  Sean lived in San Francisco in 1995 and at the time of his mother's death in 2013 was married to Mary J. (maiden name unknown). I believe they had four children. Mary was born on 1 December 1965.

2.12.10.1.1. Rodney Alexander Muir (1942-2002)

Rodney Alexander Muir was born on 23 January 1942 in Klipsan Beach, Washington, to Alexander Eugene Muir and Minerva B. Hansen. He was their only known son and his father served in the U.S. Coast Guard at the time of his birth. In 1960 Rod lived with his parents in Seattle at 7744 18th Avenue SW and was a student at Chief Stealth High School. He made the National Honor Society that year.

In 1999, the year his father died, he lived in Edmonds, Washington. His mother died in 2001 and Rod died the following year on 27 February 2002. I do not believe he married or had children.

Katherine Ann Hoyt was born on 18 June 1951 to Wilber Walker Hoyt and Kathryn "Kay" Mayme Muir. She married a man by the name of Coentino.  Katherine lived in Novi, Michigan, at the time of her sister's death.

2.12.9.9.3. Donald William Hoyt (1953- )

Donald William Hoyt was born on 13 June 1953 to Wilber Walker Hoyt and Kathryn "Kay" Mayme Muir. He married a woman named Paula and they have at least one son named Peter. The family lived in Livonia, Michigan, in 2003 at the time of his sister's death.

2.12.9.9.4. Gayle Lynn Hoyt (1954-2003)

Gayle Lynn Hoyt was born on 9 October 1954 to Wilber Walker Hoyt and Kathryn "Kay" Mayme Muir. She lived in San Diego with her partner, Susan Furin, when she died on 30 December 2003.

2.12.9.7.1. Sharon Anita Samas (unknown- )

Sharon Anita Samas was born on 9 September according to my Grandma Jennings' genealogy notebook, to Alexander Francis Samas and Bernice Marie Muir. However, I do not know the year of her birth or where she was born. My assumption is she is the eldest daughter born before the family moved to Orange County, California, as California is one of the few states that makes recent birth records publicly available.

Sharon married Ronald E. Gifford on 20 June 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They divorced five years later in January 1975 in Los Angeles County, California. I do not know if the couple had children.

Sharon then married George R. Walter on 9 September 1978 in Zephyr Cove, Nevada. I do not know if the couple had children.

2.12.9.7.2. Lynn Marie Samas (1954- )

Lynn Marie Samas was born on 21 October 1954 in Orange, California, to Alexander Francis Samas and Bernice Marie Muir. It is entirely possible she married someone with the surname Zeilenga.

When she was a girl, her father worked for National Life & Accident Insurance Co. as an agent and the family lived in Birmingham, Michigan, where Caryle attended Derby Junior High School.

According to Grandma Jennings' genealogy notebook, Caryle married Dennis Arthur Lzcgesny on 18 April 1970. I have been unable to find any trace of him or whether the couple had children.

Caryle then married David L. Rubbelke likely between 1983 and 1988. They had at least one child. When Caryle's Mom died in 2009, the Rubbelke family lived in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

Randall married Mary Louise Lansford on 25 June 1971 in Orange County, California. Mary Louise was born on 10 November 1950 in Los Angeles County, California. According to his father's obituary, he lived in Claremont, California, in 2003.

Joseph Michael Muir was born on 1 December 1976. On 22 July 2000 he married Christi Lynn Major, daughter of John Guy Major and Deborah Ann McKinney, in Tarrant County, Texas. She was born on 24 January 1975 and may have been married previously.

Joseph Michael Muir married Hannah Sharene Penn on 15 June 2008 in Multnomah County, Oregon.

12.9.5.2. Richard Thomas Muir (1952- )

He married Teddi Jeanne McGee on 29 May 1977 in San Diego County. She was born on 17 July 1951. According to his father's obituary he resided in Oceanside, California, in 2003. I do not know if the couple have children.

Mary Lynn Muir was born on 15 February 1955 in Los Angeles County to Harold Muir and Marian Ruth Ternes. According to her father's obituary, she lived in Santa Monica, California, in 2003.

Robert Michael Muir was born on 29 November 1958 in Los Angeles County to Harold Muir and Marian Ruth Ternes. According to his father's obituary, he lived in Elk Grove, California, in 2003.

Jeffrey and Patricia divorced on 8 July 1970 in Orange County, Florida.

On 24 July 1970 Jeffrey married Velinda Fay Collinsworth in Orange County. They divorced on 11 November 1970.

On 10 December 1971 Jeffrey married Theresa Gail Doster in Hillsborough County, Florida. They divorced on 15 May 1973 in Miami-Dade County.

On 30 June 1973 Jeffrey married Ellen Robin Siegle in Broward County, Florida. They divorced on 28 July 1977 in Broward County.

On 21 September 1979 Jeffrey married Marilyn Erskine in Duval County, Florida. They divorced on 3 July 1985 in Marion County, Florida.

On 25 November 1988 Jeffrey married Lynne Roberts. I do not know when they divorced.

On 26 October 1990 Jeffrey married Laurel Gaye Crosser in Marion County. They divorced on 22 April 1992 in Marion County.

In 1994 Jeffrey lived in Fort McCoy, Florida.

2.12.8.4.1. Altecia Opal Dillinger (1949- )

Altecia Opal Dillinger was born on 4 April 1949. According to Grandma Jennings' genealogy notebook, she married Robert Samuel Jenks on 26 October 1968. They had a daughter the following year.

I do not know if Altecia and Robert divorced or if they were still married at the time of his death in 1979.

On 29 May 1984 Altecia married Louis Willard Mercier, son of Joseph Mercier and Nedra Loiselle, in Washburn County, Wisconsin. Louis was nearly 20 years her senior and had been married at least four times previously. In a strange twist, he had been convicted for bank robbery in Seattle in 1964 where he worked as a barber.

Louis married again in 1987 so I assume his and Altecia's marriage was a short one. He died in 2000.

2.12.8.4.1. Linda L. Scarlett (1942- )

Linda L. Scarlett was born on 22 July 1942. She attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin, graduating in 1963 with a degree in German.

She married Robert Samuel Jenks on 29 June 1963 in Washington County, Minnesota. They had a son before divorcing.

In 1993 Linda lived in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

2.12.8.4.1. Robert Samuel Jenks (1939-1979)

Robert Samuel Jenks was born on 19 August 1939 in Danville, Illinois, to Arthur Edwin Jenks and Elizabeth Caswell. He was their eldest child although his father had a son by a previous marriage. When the 1940 census was enumerated the family lived in South Danville and Robert's father worked as a coal miner.

Robert married Linda L. Scarlet on 29 June 1963 in Washington County, Minnesota. They had one son before divorcing.

According to my grandmother's genealogy notebook, Robert next married Altecia Opal Dillinger. They had a daughter. I do not know if they remained married or if they divorced before Robert's death.

In 1971 Robert lived in El Cajon, California. He was 40 years old.

Robert Samuel Jenks died in September 1979 and was interred at Lakeview Cemetery in Hertel, Wisconsin, the same cemetery where his parents were later buried.

2.12.8.2.1. Thomas Joseph Ogden (1912-1998)

Thomas Joseph Ogden was born on 11 July 1912 in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, to Edward Francis Ogden and Estella Kelly. When the 1920 census was enumerated, the family lived in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, and Thomas' father worked in a mill and his mother was a weaver at a woolen mill. The family continued to reside in Upper Darby when the 1930 census was enumerated.

In 1937 and 1938 Thomas Ogden was a right-handed pitcher for the Centreville Colts, a Class D minor league team affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies, based out of Centreville, Maryland. His height was listed as 6'1" and he weighed 180 pounds. He pitched 28 games in 1937 and 151 innings in 1938. That year, apparently his last in the league, his win-loss percentage was 0.526 with a earned run average (ERA) of 4.89.

In 1940 Thomas was a lodger at the home of Earl and Florence Reichel at 502 Ontario Street in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and Thomas worked as a clerk in a steel mill.

According to my grandmother's genealogy notebook, Thomas married Elizabeth Ann Fullerton on 28 October 1955. It is possible he had been married at least once before. The couple had one child and moved to Florida in the late 1960s where Thomas taught at private schools. Thomas and Elizabeth divorced in 1971.

Thomas Joseph Ogden died on 6 February 1998 in Hernando County, Florida. At the time of his death he lived in Brooksville. He was interred at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens in New Port Richey, Florida, with Marie L. Bennett, who died in 1992.

2.12.8.2.1. Elizabeth Ann Fullerton (1932- )

Elizabeth Ann Fullerton was born on 16 October 1932 in Illinois, likely in Danville Township, to William Thomas Fullerton and Roberta Irene Caswell. She was their only child and her father worked for the Wabash Railroad as a car inspector. When the 1940 census was enumerated Elizabeth and her family lived South B Street in Tilton, Illinois. By the time Elizabeth Ann was 9 years old, her family moved to Lincoln Park, Michigan.

Elizabeth Fullerton married Thomas Joseph Ogden on 28 October 1955 according to my Grandma's genealogy notebook. The couple had one child:

1. Thomas Robert Ogden born 10 August 1957

Elizabeth and and Thomas Ogden divorced on 22 September 1971 in Orange County, Florida.

In 1996 Elizabeth lived in New Port Richey, Florida.

2.13.3.6.1. Joann (May) Testor (1943-2013)

Jo Ann "Joann" May was born on 14 April 1943 in Grundy, Virginia, to Edward May and Hazel Dotson. On 13 May 1961 she married Cecil Paul Tester, son of Hillman Charles Tester and Addie Marie Conn. Cecil worked as a truck driver for a coal company at the time of their marriage. The couple had two daughters:

1. Diana Gail Tester born on 25 December 1961 in Buchanan County. She married James Terry Dotson on 25 December 1981 in Hurley, Virginia. They had a daughter in 1989. The couple divorced on 27 May 2002. Diana married Cecil Gary Dotson on 8 October 2005.
2. Vicki Lynn Tester born 13 October 1964 in Buchanan County. She married Morris Kevin Moore on 20 February 1990; they divorced on 21 July 1992. Secondly, she married Christopher Allen Justus and had a daughter. They divorced on 10 November 2008. She had a son, Brandon Paul Tester in 1983.

On 21 February 1966 Cecil Paul Tester was driving his coal truck near Kelsa, Virginia, when he was killed after he lost control of his truck and jumped, landing in the path of the truck's wheels. He was killed instantaneously.

Joann (May) Tester married Jerry Robert Hess on 25 September 1968 in Grundy, Virginia. They had two daughters.

Vernon Miller

Joann died on 19 October 2013 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. She was interred at Mountain Valley Memorial Park in Big Rock, Virginia.
