2.3.5.6. Henrietta Forsyth (1894-1917)

Henrietta Forsyth was born on 23 April 1894 at 165 Brook Street in the Camlachie district of Glasgow to Robert and Elizabeth (Riddell) Forsyth. She was their sixth child. In 1901 she lived with her family on 14 Margaret Street and in 1911, on 230 Holm Street -- both addresses in Glasgow. In 1911 she was 17 years old and did not work or attend school.

Henrietta Forsyth died on 25 September 1917 at the Govan Poorhouse hospital in the Merryflatts area  of Glasgow of paraplegia and bed sores. She was 23 years old.

I have always been curious if the paraplegia was a long-term condition and this is why she was not working in 1911 or if she was involved in some sort of an accident.
