2.3.4.8.3 Alexander Nicol Riddell (1932-1933)

Alexander Nicol Riddell was born in 1932 in Hamilton to Malcolm and Isabella (Lindsay) Riddell. He was their third known child. He died on 19 February 1933 at the age of 10 months of whooping cough and acute gastroenteritis. His parents lived at One Meilke Earnock Road and his father was a coal miner at the time of his death. Alexander was buried in Bent Cemetery in Hamilton in the Riddell family lair.

2.3.4.8.4 Hamilton McCormack Riddell (1943- )

Hamilton Riddell was born on 19 November 1943 at the County Hospital in Bellshill to Malcolm and Isabella (Lindsay) Riddell. He was their fourth known child and was born 23 years after their marriage. His father, Malcolm, was an engineer's laborer, and and family lived in Meilke Earnock, a suburb of Hamilton at the time of his birth.
