2.3.6.3. Alexander Paterson (1898-unknown)

Alexander Paterson was born on 30 June 1898 at 30 Brown Street in the village of Newmains in Cambusnethan parish. Newmains. Alexander's parents were David and Jessie (Moffat) Paterson and his father was a coal miner. In 1901 the family lived 17 Lochview Cottage in Cambusnethan. Ten years later they lived on Parkview in the village of Newmains and Alexander attended school.

He married Maggie Kerr Riddell on 18 August 1926 at her parents home, Gertrude Cottage, on Scott Street in Hamilton according to the forms of the Christian Brethren. Alexander was 27 years old, 5 years his bride's junior, lived at 9 Watt Avenue in Armadale, which was in the county of Linlithgow, and worked as a master baker. The couple had one known son.

I have not learned when or where Alexander Paterson died.
