Tuesday, February 24, 2015 Robert Bruce Diplock (1947-1967)

Robert Bruce Diplock was born on 11 September 1947 in Nanaimo to Alfred Henry Robert and Margaret (Richmond) Diplock. He was one of six children born to the couple. What we know about Robert comes almost entirely from his death certificate.

He was 19 years old, a student at Simon Fraser University, and lived at 995 North Terminal Avenue with his wife Lorraine. On 29 April 1967 Robert committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope. He father was the informant on his death certificate.

Simon Frazer University had its main campus in Burnaby, British Columbia. It is a public university was established two years before Robert's death.
