2.3.3.7. Isabella Cowie Riddell (1897-1979)

Isabella Cowie Riddell was born on 2 February 1897 at 19A Cobb Terrace in Coatbridge. She was Oswald Dykes and Annie (Cowie) Riddell's seventh and youngest child. In 1901 she lived with her parents and her sister Janet at 18 Baird Street. In 1911 she lived with her family at 5 Academy Street. Her parents ran a restaurant and several of Isabella's siblings had returned to live at home and work in the restaurant. Isabella was still in school at the time.

Isabella went to Northern Ireland and married James Davidson Forman in Belfast in 1920. He was born on 25 February 1891 in Nigg, Scotland. His parents were William and Christina Grieg (Davidson) Forman.

Isabella died on 14 May 1979 at the Royal Infirmary in Aberdeen of status asthmaticus and cardiac failure. Status asthmaticus is acute severe asthma. Her death registration indicated she was a widow of James Davidson Forman, who was an upholsterer. He likely died in 1966. Her son Robert W. C. Forman was the informant on the death registration document.
