2.3.7.1. Margaret Melrose Riddell (1892-1895)
Margaret Melrose Riddell was born on 12 February 1892 at 21 Hozier Street in Glasgow. She was the oldest child of John and Margaret (Brownlee) Riddell and was born six months after her parents marriage. She was named for Margaret (Melrose) Smith, her mother's adoptive mother. Little Margaret died on 15 January 1895 at 18 Dredge Street in Glasgow of meningitis. She was a month away from turning 3 years old.2.3.7.2. Martha Riddell (1893-1894)
Martha Riddell was born on 28 April 1893 at 18 Bridge Street in Glasgow to Thomas and Margaret (Brownlee) Riddell. She was their second child. She died on 21 June 1894 at the same address of tubercular meningitis.2.3.7.3. John Riddell (1895-1981)

Thomas Riddell was born on 1 January 1903 in the town of Clydebank to Thomas and Margaret (Brownlee) Riddell. It is believed he died in Old Kilpatrick parish in 1991. It is impossible to determine who Thomas married as there are several possibilities and the digital images of the registration records are not yet available for viewing.2.3.7.8. Robert Riddell was born on 30 July 1908 in the town of Clydebank to Thomas and Margaret (Brownlee) Riddell. His father was a carter. He died six weeks later on 11 September 1908 of infectious enteritis, which he likely contracted by drinking something that was contaminated with bacteria.2.3.7.11. David Riddell (1910-1992)
