Christina married Charles Findlay on 19 April 1947 at the AC West Church in East Kilbride. She lived with her parents at 3 Barr Terrace and worked as a shorthand typist before her marriage.
In 1955 Christina and Charles had their only known child, Joan Rita Findlay.
On 17 Jun 1958 the family boarded the S/S Captain Cook and immigrated to New Zealand. They had lived at 10 Beauclerg Street in Alva, Clackmannanshire before they departed Scotland.
In 1963 Christina and Charles were living at 84 Division Street in Riccarton, Canterbury, New Zealand. Riccarton was a suburb of Christchurch.
A third cousin of Christina's indicates she died in 1993.
